Peregrines nearly ready to Launch

Another quick look at Sheffield's Peregrines revealed 4 well grown chicks with one trying out it's wings. I reckon 1 more week and they should be flying. Whilst on a walk yesterday there were a lot of Golden Plover and a single Mountain hare now in summer pelage and the first seen in that area and relatively low down.

  1. I don't think I can go on a trip with you with photos as good as these. You're going to make me look a real bloody amateur! ;-)

  2. I'm sure you have got some crackers from your Corfu jaunt, I can't wait for some nice Mediterranean light.

  3. Love the peregrine shots carl and the mention of mountain hare has certainly wet my appetite!

    Keep up the good work.
