With some decent weather yesterday, sunny, 14 celsius and no wind it was ideal for some Autumn Adder action. I went to a site which has been very productive this year. I found a male and a small orange female straight away, this female is probably one of the 11 juveniles that were in the area in spring and has certainly grown a fair bit since then. Another couple of sweeps after the sun re-emerged from behind a cloud and I found another 2 males, another female and best of all 5 juveniles, plus 4 juvenile lizards. At another nearby site an old friend a blue/green male adder.
